About Me

Long story short I’ve always loved product design. It’s been a dream to design, make and sell my own products. The plan was to go to Uni, get a job in the industry and after maybe 10 years, finally have enough experience to start my own company.

After 2 years in Uni, I had to drop out due to my health, which along with Covid put a halt to all plans. I completely changed my mindset on work and what my goals were. I realised I needed to build the job I wanted myself. I’m going to do what I love from the start.

Design, make and hopefully sell products of my own. 

Double Sketch Studio - Everything in this store is designed and made by me, but that’s not the long-term goal. I would love to expand and work with others in the future. This is why I named it a studio, one day I want this to be a hub of amazing products from multiple artists/designers, in mediums that I have no experience in.

I have a long list of product ideas, but at the moment I’m focusing on lighting. I want to make sure each product has a story, a reason for its form, meaning behind its shape. I hope I’m able to communicate that story to you in a way that connects and makes owning it more special.

I’ll be sharing my journey on my socials, and I plan to make videos one day too. Thank you so much for supporting this dream.
